Effective Date: October 27, 2026Compliant with Google API Services User Data Policy

1. Overview & Scope

Welcome to Eliteris (“we”, “us”, “our”), an online educational platform committed to empowering learners, researchers, and educators through accredited curriculum courses, peer-reviewed academic books, fellowships, and academic programs.

This Privacy Policy explains how Eliteris collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit our website (https://nexus-forum-communication.vercel.app or our official domain), register for an account, authenticate via Google Sign-In, purchase digital books, enroll in courses, or otherwise communicate with us.

By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any aspect of this policy, please refrain from using our services.

2. Google OAuth & User Data

Eliteris provides users with the ability to create an account and authenticate using Google Sign-In (Google OAuth 2.0). When you choose to authenticate with Google, we request access only to standard, non-sensitive authentication scopes:

Requested Google OAuth Scopes:
  • openid — To verify your identity securely across requests.
  • email — To associate your purchases, digital book licenses, and course progress with your verified email address.
  • profile — To personalize your user experience (displaying your verified name and profile picture avatar in the navigation bar).

What Google Data We Store: We only store your Google User ID (sub), full name, email address, and profile picture URL in our secure database. We never request, access, or store your Google account password.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

Eliteris's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In strict alignment with Google's Limited Use standards:

  • No Advertising: We never use or transfer Google user data for serving personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertisements.
  • No Data Selling: We never sell, rent, license, or barter Google user data to any third party, broker, or marketing entity.
  • No AI/ML Model Training: We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Human Access Restrictions: Human personnel do not read or inspect your private Google user data unless required by applicable law, with your affirmative consent for technical troubleshooting, or to protect security and fraud prevention.

4. Information We Collect

In addition to Google OAuth authentication data, Eliteris may collect:

  • Transaction & Order Information: When you purchase an academic book or membership plan, our integrated payment processors (such as Razorpay or Stripe) process payment details. • Communications: Queries or feedback submitted through our contact forms or email to support teams.
  • Technical & Log Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, referral URLs, timestamps, and page views, logged automatically for security diagnostics and platform performance.

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, subject to strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Hosting & Cloud Infrastructure: Cloud hosting (e.g. Vercel) and encrypted cloud storage (e.g. AWS S3) used to host website services and secure encrypted digital publication assets.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by applicable court order, law, or valid governmental request.

7. Data Storage & Security

We employ comprehensive technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or disclosure:

  • All data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / HTTPS encryption.
  • Session tokens and sensitive credentials are encrypted using cryptographic signing (HMAC-SHA256) and stored in HTTP-only, secure, SameSite cookies.
  • Digital academic manuscripts and previews are served via secured, time-limited presigned URLs.
  • Database access is restricted, audited, and strictly limited to essential production services.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to maintain your perpetual digital license to purchased books.
